I stumbled into the writing world 13 years ago and it was like finding home. I spent the next years honing my skills as a creative writer and pursuing a masters in professional writing.
After freelancing as a creative writer for a few years, I landed a job as a writer for an Illinois-based media outlet, covering business news, legal news, politics, and community events.
During my tenure, I wrote hundreds of stories for print, broadcast and online publication, and honed my research and interview skills. From corporate CEOs and executives to small buisness owners, politicians, attorneys, non-profit organizations and activists, I learned what mattered to them by asking the right questions.
I later became a lead generation manager overseeing the production of over 1,000 story leads per week. Yep, it was a lot! But the role taught me content strategy and how to generate relevant content for various communities.

Well, when I transitioned to copywriting and ghostwriting, I realized that my seasoned skills in research, interviewing, content creation, and storytelling were just what my clients needed to connect with their audiences.
